Figure 4.DPI potently inhibits mitochondrial respiration. After 24 hours of treatment with DPI (2.5 to 50 nM), MCF7 cells were subjected to metabolic flux analysis with the Seahorse XFe96, which measures the OCR (the oxygen consumption rate). Note that at concentration of 2.5 nM, little or no effect was observed. However, at 5 nM, basal respiration was reduced by ~ 50%. *** p<0.001.
